We have just been informed, with VERY SHORT NOTICE, by Public Service Gas & Electric (PSE&G), and the Burlington County Highway Department, that replacement of a pipeline along North Pemberton Road (CR 630) will being Monday, February 13th (9 am to 3 pm).
During this work there will be one single alternating lane of traffic being controlled by flagmen and the NJ State Police. Motorists should expect delays during the work hours and may want to consider alternate routes. A completion date for this work has not been provided.
Township officials along with the police department voiced their strong objections to this extremely short notice but have been advised that the work will begin as planned as per County and PSE&G officials. The Township of Pemberton regrets any delays or inconvenience that this will cause our residents or the motoring public that uses this roadway. Since this is a County roadway, the decision to start this work is not under our control. However, we will make every effort to keep our residents updated as to the progress of this work and any other inconveniences that may be encountered.
