Pemberton Township is one of only 35 municipalities participating in the New Jersey Urban Enterprise Zone Program. Few programs have proven more enduring and successful than the UEZ Program. Since its creation, it has been a hallmark for urban revitalization and a cornerstone for economic growth and development. In 1997, the non-partisan National Association of State Development Agencies (NASDA) called the Garden State's UEZ program the "best in the nation".

The Pemberton Township Urban Enterprise Zone (UEZ) first joined the program in 1996 and since then, working hand in hand with the Township Administration and Township Council, we are helping many Pemberton Township businesses to grow and flourish. More than 150 businesses have benefited from our UEZ Program. The program has created jobs while UEZ businesses have invested millions of dollars in their businesses.

Our goal is to attract, retain and help Pemberton Township's businesses grow. Importantly, through the creation of jobs we can help make our town "A Community of Excellence" in safety, prosperity, and family life.
