Country Lakes Vol. Fire Company Announcement

The Country Lakes Volunteer Fire Company wishes to apologize for a misprint that was contained in today's Burlington County Times. The 50th Anniversary party scheduled for tomorrow night (March 28th) is not open to the public as was incorrectly reported by the newspaper. The Fire Company intends to hold a public event later in the spring and will notify the public accordingly.

Pemberton Receives Clean Communities Grant

Mayor David A. Patriarca announced today that Pemberton Township will receive $45,252.61 in 2009 for its allocation of grant funds awarded by the New Jersey Clean Communities Council. The funds will be disbursed to Pemberton Township no later than the end of April 2009.

Red Flag Warning Issued By The NWS

A Red Flag Warning is in place until 8:00 p.m. EDT this evening. A red flag warning means that critical fire weather conditions are occurring or imminent. A combination of strong winds, low relative humidity, and dry fuels will promote rapid fire growth. Visit our Weather Tools page for more information.

Budget Meeting Canceled

The budget workshop meeting scheduled for March 25th has been canceled. Township Council intends to introduce the 2009 Municipal Budget on April 1st.
